piratemike 0 #1 September 8, 2008 From the Incidents forum: "During the jump, the man thought something was wrong with his main parachute, so he pulled his reserve parachute, but he did so without releasing his main parachute first, Longmont Fire Battalion Chief Monty Richardson said. The two parachutes tangled, which caused the man to fall to the ground at an estimated 40 mph, Richardson said." Even though there is a good amount of information missing, this seems amazingly detailed for a news article. Much better than the "parachute failed" reports we normally see. I wish more reporting agencies cared enough to make a more-complete story like this. I also hope the skydiver comes out okay in the end. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3324003;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread
