Boeris 0 #1 October 2, 2008 Hi! This is my first thread here. Thought I would finally introduce myself and stop being a lurker... Haha. Anyways, I'm pretty new to skydiving. I currently have 50 jumps and my CSPA A license. I learned to skydive with the wonderful folks at Eden North just outside of Edmonton, Ab while I was up there on a 3 month work assignment. I got bored after a month and a half and decided to do a solo jump...like most of you, I've been hooked/addicted ever since. I just purchased my first rig and some other gear tidbits. I've been jumping at Skydive Oregon since I returned to my hometown of Portland. I've met several cool peeps out there, but I've only jumped with a few people. In fact last weekend was my first, yes I said the F word, 4-way. I am intersted in anything I can learn. I believe I'm pretty advanced for my 50 jumps as I have done them all within the last 3 months. My RW needs some work, as well as my freeflying. I started doing freeflying and mananged a decent sit, before I realized I should get some RW under my belt before I progress into freeflying too much. I don't want to be one of those skydivers that can freefly their ass off but can't do RW to save their life. So, to sum it up...if you want to get together and make some jumps, whatever your flavor, please let me know! Boeris 0 #7 October 6, 2008 Well, I would have called Jerry, but obviously the weather had an agenda that didn't involved us crazy bastards... Hopefully next weekend will be better! I wish my boss would just give me the week off (since I am sitting here twiddling my thumbs). Then I could at least rip down to Cali or Az for a short skydiving vaca!www.theflystyle.com "When once you have tasted flight you will always walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward: for there you have been and there you will always be." -L.D.
