I know the BSRs, However I was referring specifically to the farm in my previous post.My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... I am pretty sure that any competent experienced jumper would be allowed to jump with a non-licenced jumper that has cleared AFF at The Farm. Man, that is one hell of a qualifying statement. If you just want to jump with newbies, jump with newbies. Your choice. billvon 3,095 #31 October 14, 2008 >that is not the way it works at many DZs. Hmm! Do they require that pre-A license jumpers jump only with coaches or instructors? It doesn't come up too often at Perris, because the first place most new jumper go after they do a few solos are the load organizers - and they are professional organizers/coaches/AFF-I's. They will often do 2 or 3 ways with newer jumpers and "ease them in" to the bigger formations.

So the 110 jump wonder with the coach rating can take 9 newbies up to do a 10-way.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. The coaches rating has been sold as a way for 100 jump wonders to have someone pay for their jumps.
