I emailed him at the email address I was given but havent heard back from him yet.
.

He's probably off setting a geriatrics' big-way world record somewhere.

Wouldnt surprise me in the least.
Its good to read that he's gotten back into the sport and is staying active. I remember him showing me his scrapbook and some of the crazy stuff that had happened. Hanging from some high tension lines comes to mind.
After they closed our 2nd Army reserve unit I lost touch with him and really regret it.
Thanks for helping me to get back in touch with him.

Just got off the phone with Sky.
Been a long time but felt good to talk to him for a few minutes. He was on his way to breakfast then probably to the DZ so we didnt have much time to chat.
Looks like we are going to meet up for a jump when he heads back north.
Thanks again to yall who helped me get into contact with an old friend who was a good influence on me in my younger and wilder paratrooper days.

Sky is an active SOS and big way jumper. He jumped for years ar Hinckley. Today he jumps at Skydive Chicago and Z-Hills. His wife Donna, bounced on her 1,000th jump about 20 years ago. I just heard sky was injured yesterday.

John Kallend just informed me that Sky Huminski was badly injured in a canopy collision at Z-Hills on 12/26. Please keep Sky in your prayers.

There's a thread in the "Incidents" forum.

I understand Sky was hospitalized with wrist and head injuries but is generally OK. All I know about the incident is hearsay, however.
...

The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
