firstime 0 #1 January 28, 2009 My niece is doing a project (egg drop) I am trying to draw some pictures because she is not grasping the open end to the closed end. There are plenty of pics of canopies but I was looking for something such as a pencil drawing of the side and or a front view.and she will get a D if I draw it. can anyone direct me to something I can send to her. gearless_chris 1 #11 January 28, 2009 When we (my daughter and I) did the egg drop, we made a round parachute, very similar to a pilot chute. I had some ZP material left over from another project, and bought some mesh from the craft section at Walmart."If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole.

I would think constructing a ram air chute for an egg drop would be overly complicated for a child's project. Stick to a round chute, with some bubble-wrap around the egg. Butters 0 #13 January 28, 2009 If I remember correctly, all you have to do is put the egg in a small plastic bag, fill it with water, seal it, put the small plastic bag in a large plastic bag, fill it with water, seal it, and drop ..."That looks dangerous."
