blazetailman 0 #1 October 6, 2009 Some of you might know Skydive Sacramento has been dealing with airport access issues at Lincoln Regional Airport for the last 2 years. We are in the middle of an official FAA complaint for the discriminating acts from airport management at a federally funded airport. Here is the article. http://www.sacbee.com/ourregion/story/2233416.htmlhttp://www.sacbee.com/ourregion/story/2233416.html www.skydivesac.comhttp://www.skydivesac.comwww.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com

blazetailman 0 #6 October 7, 2009 Hey yo, I made that comment because out of the whole article JP found a caption to make a comment about me. This thread is not about me. As I read my post it now looks like bragging. Wish I could take it back. If you want to talk about my qualifications or anything else, start another thread, tell me where it is so I know where NOT to go. Vector Boy I hope that your comment is in reference to JP. I hold no wingsuit rating at this time. Now back to the topic at hand. Please. I think this is a about starting a biz, not just skydiving discrimination at a federally funded airport Let's keep this on topic..www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com

stratostar 5 #9 October 7, 2009 They (dz) already won a part 13 and the city still has the right to say NO, it's not a smart move on their part to do so and can only lead to another loss and cost them money for lawyers, but it's still their right to be retarded. At a guess the airport manger has the full blessing of the city commission, till the lawyer bills show up and the FAA wins again and withholds the future funding and or asks for repayment of past funding should they remain retarded and keep their current stance......till that happends the airport manger will remain employed, afterwards most companies fire those who cost the company millions in lost funding, and with todays econo in the country as well as Cali, looks like thin ice ahead? For a better review of many of the issues you can take a look at Know your rights - Federal Funded Airports and Access issues you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo
diablopilot 2 #10 October 7, 2009 This particular airport manager was previously a manager at another airport where he tried in vain to have an existing DZ removed. Sounds like he's been shoveling the city commission a pile of BS. One more thing the DZ in this article has going for them: there previously had been a DZ at this airport (60's-70's) and there are specific laws on the local books about DZ operations. I think on this airport access issue, if the DZO can carry through the long legal battle, the DZ will prevail.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.
