skybytch 273 #2 October 10, 2009 The loop that you used to attach the line to the toggle or the loop that you set the brakes into? If it's the one that attaches the line to the toggle, it's fairly simple to tie a new knot. If it's the one that you set the brakes in, a new one can be fingertrapped into the line. Or will it have to go back to icarus As previously mentioned, it is easy to fix. But the real question is how was it secured in the first place? You should be able to remove the toggle from the steering line without having the loop come undone. Did the loop just come apart, or did you do something that made it come apart? If it really just came apart, it might not have been secured correctly in the first place. By the way, why were you removing the toggle? Are you taking the canopy off the risers for some reason? I'm not trying to be an ass, but I am thinking that someone with 900 jumps and 16 yrs in the sport that is having to ask this question maybe should not be disassembling gear.
