xvani 0 #1 December 6, 2009 Hi! I'm new to the country, but have injury insurance from my home, which does not cover skydiving. I am now looking for any sort of CHEAP injury insurance which also covers skydiving, or optimally covers skydiving only. (cheaper?) So far I've found: -Aflac (waiting for quote) - Combined insurance (seems kinda shady if you google combined insurance scam) How are you guys covered for INJURIES (which can be in 10s of thousands of $$ - so surely u must have insurance?) THANK YOU! =)
NWFlyer 2 #2 December 6, 2009 I have health insurance through my employer, which does not exclude injuries from skydiving. For travel (I'm going to the Belize Boogie next year) I found two possible options that don't exclude skydiving. I'm probably going to go with the first one since it has more generous coverage (includes medical care, medical evacuation if necessary, costs related to travel disruption, etc.). These insurers may provide a longer-term option that would work for you. https://global.ihi.com Seems to be available to pretty much anyone worldwide. http://www.imglobal.com/about/ (might only be available to US citizens / foreign nationals)"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
SKIandSKY 0 #3 December 6, 2009 Insurance? Who needs insurance? That Pastrana guy jumps without a parachute and nothing happens to him! Thanks for posting insurance links....I don't have it by choice, just circumstance! I'll definately give those two a look. Have a great day!
