jigneshsoni 0 #1 June 12, 2005 At what point can you get other people in tandem with you? I mean somebody who wants to do their first sky diving jump in tandem, when can you do it with them? Are people who are into insturctions do this for full time and do it for living? Is this a good profession? Do people get into this profession for money or for the fun of it? or for both? Does it pay good? I would love to get my mother and my father to do tandem with me someday? I am not sure if it is all worth it? Can anybody tell me the possibilities? Thanks in advance. Kris 0 #2 June 12, 2005 To be a Tandem instructor you must have 500 jumps, 3 years in sport, and already have one other rating (Coach, AFF, IAD) I recommend that you look through the Skydivers Information Manual (SIM) on the USPA website. www.uspa.org 2005 USPA SIMSky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Mind you, I also do a lot of rigging, video, PFF, teach IAD students, refuel visiting helicopters, sweep out hangars, etc. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.>> Is this a good profession? Do people get into this profession for money or for the fun of it? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mostly for the fun .. because it sure does not pay very well. I could earn far more money in a real job, if I could just keep a real job.
