If you're athletic enought to skate board, you can definitely do our sport. The belly flying that students start with is hardly more strenuous than rolling over in bed. Your body weight is supported on a cushion of air in freefall. It's actually very comfortable once you get used to that "plunging towards the planet" stuff.Relax, have fun, practice hard on the ground, and don't psyche yourself out before the jump. I think you're gonna love it.

Last week at the SOS event I was jumping with Bud LaPorte, who is 84 and still going strong, and a 67 y/o lady with two artificial hips who can still beat most youngsters to a formation.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

With every year I add to my age, I love hearing that stuff more and more. I hope I'm going strong at that age too.
skycamefalling 0 #29 April 22, 2010 Thats how it was for me. My first jump was also the first time stepping my feet in to an airplane. Killed 2 birds with one stone. Speedracer~I predict that Michael Jackson will rise from the dead. And that a giant radioactive duck will emerge from the ocean and eat Baltimore. maxwell88 0 #30 April 22, 2010 Hello, Nice one guy's, Im in south east (Hasting) My nearest Dropzone would be Headcorn, or ones near London. End of summer next year I will be in madrid so I was considering going to Skydive Lillo? Allthough Id would rather support UK dropzones, Ive heard bad things about headcorn - (Deadcorn e.t.c) ethier way Ive got to save some money up! max
