humblegod 0 #3 August 8, 2010 Sure did! Can I use the vid as proof??
JohnRich 4 #4 August 8, 2010 Did you get a certificate after the jump to prove that you did it? It probably doesn't matter anyway, as a tandem jump likely will not fulfill any requirements for obtaining a license.
theonlyski 8 #5 August 8, 2010 Well, the use videos for proof all the time! I think a video of a tandem would be good enough to prove to me that it happened. Talk to the guys at Lodi, show them the video... See what they say."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message

Not much, but it is one of the required 25 jumps.I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.

monkycndo 0 #9 August 8, 2010 I did a tandem in 2001. Then started AFF in 2004. I told my AFF-I I did the tandem and he logged the jump in my student logbook as jump #1. It didn't count towards my student training, but it did towards the 25 I needed for my A.50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
Southern_Man 0 #10 August 8, 2010 It would count as one jump out of his 25. When I did my tandem it counted as a CAT A, since I showed altitude awareness and pulled my own chute, not a lot but it is something. I had to ask to have it count as a Cat A and they gave me a small logbook and yellow card."What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
humblegod 0 #11 August 8, 2010 I heard the same, if it counts good!if not oh well!

jaffo 0 #13 August 8, 2010 You can log it, why not??? It means something to you and it is an experience you've had. Put it down. It really won't mean much for the numbers, but why not put it in there. A year from now you'll be pushing 150 jumps and it'll be a good memory when you read about it.
