Krip 2 #1 March 7, 2012 Hi The urge to downsize has been around for a long time, as has been the paying the ultimate price I recall someone mentioning that 75% of all Fatalities involve either mid air collisions or the inability to land a perfectly good canopy. The incident reports involving jumpers that make landing error's that "only" involve injuries are usually reported as broken x,y,z, if reported at all. IMO what is lacking is the extent of the injuries, some are life changing and include, A Quad, Para, TBI, bankrupsty, divorce etc. I'm not into the lawyer thing, but some statistics about the type, cost and life changing injuries that can be incured even if we don't die, might cause some of the newer jumpers to consider thier choice of canopy size.
