Women skydivers at Perris on Saturday

This Saturday Grace Katz put on a "sisters in skydiving" event for women at Perris. 20+ women of all experience levels showed up, and the more experienced jumpers took turns taking up small groups of jumpers on loads between Power Play loads. Kudos to Grace for doing all the work and bringing experienced and novice women skydivers together for a day of fun and learning.

When Power Play heard about that, they realized that they could fill a load with all the women on Power Play. So Christy took a group of 16 women and spent the day building the Power Play formations with an all-female team.

It's good to see so many women in the sport here in Southern California; we had two Otter loads worth of women jumping all day on Saturday. Hopefully this will become a regular event.
