promise5 17 #1 December 25, 2012 Has anyone here done any skydiving in Alaska? i'm from there and my family is back there. My twin and I are planning to do a tandem together after the first of the year.The thing is that when I go back to CT I have a choice of drop zones where Alaska only has one that we've found and it was closed this year. shmuelrich 0 #3 December 31, 2012 Well the end of December is not really that best time to go skydiving in Alaska, a bit dark and chilly . But if you do make it there in the summer time and they're open I do highly recommend you try to make a jump there. I was able to make a jump there a year and a half ago and it was absolutely amazing. It's a breath taking view with the snow caped mountian ranges of Alaska and great people you can't miss. I've also been out to DZ's in CT and although there great too you can't compare the opportunity and the scenery to make a jump in Alaska. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
