rohicks 2 #1 January 21, 2013 Well it's been a long 6-7 year wait since my first level 1 jump. Feels good to be back at it, and ended up doing two levels today at Skydive Palatka in Florida. Have some short footage of my free fall if you want to watch it. http://youtu.be/sAxjfU3he84 I did fairly good; some minor problems I seem to keep doing is when doing practice pulls I want to put my left arm on top of my head instead of in front of my face. Another is if you watch the 2nd level dive you'll see my left 90 degree turn is a bit tough to get through. I had trouble with dipping my left shoulder to get me to move. However, other then those two I passed with flying colors!

FlyingRhenquest 1 #3 January 21, 2013 Good work dude! None of that stuff you're having trouble with won't go away with practice! It's amazing how far you can progress in just a few short jumps. Good luck!I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?
StreetScooby 5 #4 January 22, 2013 Looking good! Lots of calm awareness going on in your head. As you progress, you'll learn to keep your arms/hands below the plane of your chin. That will resolve the issues you're having right now. You'll find that keeping your hands "low" will make you start using other muscles in your lower back/glutes. Just arch hard, stick your d--k in the dirt, and point your toes. Oh, and keep jumping! We are all engines of karma
aeio540 0 #5 January 22, 2013 Nice job. We're in the same boat. Completed AFF 2 yesterday. We all have some issues we have to work out. That's why we go through training and get to have some fun while we're at it.
popsjumper 2 #6 January 22, 2013 Excellent job! I'd like EVERY student to do as good as that...even with the hand on the helmet. Believe it or not, some schools and instructors teach it that way. Go with whatever arm, leg and body position your instructors say.My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. rohicks 2 #8 January 22, 2013 Thanks everyone. My instructors said they were very impressed with me, and I've been one of their best in awhile. So that makes me feel more at ease and proud I'll probably do level 3 and 4 in the first week of February. I'm having a blast and can't wait to get back up in the sky!
