He interviews a Clinton era Israeli peace negotiator and a Palestinian lawyer/peace negotiator. It covers a lot of the history, why Biden failed, why Trump succeeded (and why Trump is likely to ultimately fail). I hadn’t realised that the peace plan essentially has Tony Blair and Trump as the defacto heads of a transitional plan. Or that Palestine has 12 different factions that agreed to come together last year and provide a unified authority and this was undermined and vetoed in effect by Israel. Phil1111 1,261 #2 yesterday at 02:29 AM Like all of Trump's other "peace plans" this one is a sham. Hamas has a stated objective of destroying Israel. Sixty five thousand dead Gaza residents has meant nothing so far to them. Sixty five thousand dead Gaza residents has meant nothing to Israel or to Netanyahu. Both Netanyahu.and the Israeli far right politicians have outright rejected any Palestinian state. As has the top ministers of his government. The Knesset voted this summer to overwhelmingly reject any Palestinian state.
