Who’s going to go and open your safe deposit box when you’re not allowed to talk to a lawyer? What good would the documents be anyway if you’re not allowed to show them to a court?
 

This is the obvious absurdity of deciding that this particular group doesn’t get due process. Anyone could be accused of being part of that group and without due process how do you argue that you’re not?

It is an unfortunate state of affairs when we are awash with illegal aliens and the best anyone can do is to bitch about their ham handed removal.

I've lived in countries where being there without authorization was a REALLY BAD IDEA, and simply being deported was about the best for which you might hope.

Since virtually all the problems faced in the Americas can be traced to unfettered immigration from other continents, it is past time to stop doing the same thing while expecting different results.

On the whole I'm happier having people around who are willing to fix my roof, make a new patio, help landscape my yard than I am to have people around who are clearly frustrated Gestapo wannabes.

Mick.  He came to the US to start a company making skydiving gear.  His company employed five Americans, also skydivers.  Then he had a visa problem; for a short time he was then an illegal immigrant.  We are fortunate that he was not "removed."

Elon Musk.  He came to the US and started several companies.  He entered illegally; he came in on an educational visa, never even registered for classes and went straight to work.  VERY illegal.

Monica.  She was a skydiver who came from Norway to visit.  But at one point she worked at a skydiving gear store for a few days because they were shorthanded.  Again VERY illegal.

Natalie.  Had a 4-way team from Switzerland who went to the World Meet.  While in the US, she coached some local 4 way teams.  Illegal.

Neil Young.  Came to the US in 1966 and played guitar for tips.  Again, illegal.  Didn't get a green card until 1970!
