Predictions for shutdown

1) Trump likes shutdowns (this is his third or fourth depending on how you count) and thus he will milk it for a while.

2) Trump will eventually chicken out.  He will agree to democratic demands, and then take credit for ending the shutdown.

3) The shutdown will last only until air traffic controllers start calling in sick (like they did last time.)  This will inconvenience air travelers of course, which republican politicians don't care about; they can just blame Hunter Biden or something.  But it will also inconvenience business aviation, and the GOP's Gulfstreams and Challengers will experience long delays at airports.  And THAT they will not abide.

NATCA is already sending out videos to their members saying "don't call in sick!  We mean it this time!" (in corpspeak of course.)  So they are seeing this coming as well.
