More right wing violence

In the latest demonstration that right wing extremism is the #1 cause of violence in the US, Trump supporter Thomas Sanford shot twelve people at a church in Michigan, four of whom died.  He then set fire to the church before fleeing.

In 2019, Sanford was photographed wearing a Trump 2020 T-shirt.  The slogan: "Make Liberals Cry Again."  And in June 2025, his house still had a Trump sign outside.

The violence Trump has fomented is getting worse, fast.

And now Marjorie Taylor Greene is getting death threats from Trump supporters because she is demanding the release of the Epstein files.

Imagine claiming this might happen a year ago.  The usual suspects here would claim you were insane.

Not just 'killing machines.' 

I have no time for right-wing or left-wing violence.

That is a society that I do not want to live in.

I am all for civil disobedience.  I have no problem with someone standing on a sidewalk with a sign in their hand; as long as they do not block the sidewalk.

Just stay on the sidewalk.  And, keep quiet after 10 PM.

I only hope that I have learned to not shake my fist & yell at kids.  It really never works.

Kingman Republican Rep. John Gillette wrote on the social media site X that U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal, a Democrat from Washington, was calling for the the government to be overthrown and should be hanged. 

“Until people like this, that advocate for the overthrow of the American government are tried convicted and hanged.. it will continue,” Gillette said in response to a video of Jayapal.

I completely agree. A frequent SC poster PM'd me a week or so back. He was pissed because I kept posting about fraud, corruption and the endless criminal and unconstitutional acts from the Trump administration. I guess he thought  should just post positive things about America. The Winston Churchill approach.

War and cancer is messy, dirty. The current garbage dump is going to stink for at least another year and a half. Stay strong brother.

Phil, for shame, that is nothing less than an intentional misrepresentation of what I sent to you:

Perhaps if you read more and read into less your would have noticed I mentioned nothing about subject matter in my message to you and have hardly squirmed away from criticizing my country on these pages. I learned something that I did not know, from the local news; on-line and tv. 

Since Trump has called up 200 Oregon Nat'l Guard troops, the State of Oregon has to cover those costs.

As of now, that is estimated to be $3.8 million; and, could go to $10 million.

Hmmmm.

Please confirm. My understanding was that the Federal Government covers the cost unless the State--the Governor--calls the emergency.
