The perfect example of trickle down

As we leave the age of democracy behind and enter an era of plutocracy, this example will be the template for our new future.

In Florida there's a bunch of artificial islands.  None of the plots on these islands are under about a million dollars.  The nearby town of Surfside has some cheaper housing, but it's all Florida near-the-water plots.

One island in particular is special - Indian Creek.  It's all billionaires, with its own golf course, own police department and own government.  A single bridge allows access so they can keep out the riffraff.  Since it's an island, sewage disposal is an issue.  All the properties had septic tanks, but as we all know they are messy and require maintenance that wasn't getting done. So raw sewage has been leaking into the Florida bay that people use for water skiing, swimming, sailing etc.

They could, of course, fix them.  But why fix them if they can just send their shit somewhere else?  Why force billionaires to do something so unsavory?  So they talked to Surfside, who has their own sewer system.  They could put a pipe under the water and just pump it all to them.  Surfside said OK, we need $10 million to upgrade our system to take your sewage.  Indian Creek didn't want to pay.  Why should billionaires have to pay to dispose of their shit?

So they called their favorite Indian Creek council member - Jared Kushner - to see what he could do.  And he talked to the Florida legislature.  And the Florida DOT added a line in one of their new bills that said that Surfside had to take all of Indian Creek's sewage for free.

The mayor of Indian Creek had this to say about the decision:  "The bottom line is that it’s the right thing to do.  Forget about us and our community, if we’re entitled or not. It is for Biscayne Bay, and it’s for the betterment of our state.”

Won't someone please think of the bay!  Oh the BAY!

Man bites dog compared to tariffs and the tax breaks in the One Big Beautiful Bill. The inability of democrats to fight and refute the republican messaging that democrats are the corrupt ones. Combined with A.I., redistricting,etc. means that a sustained period of increased corruption is likely.

Interesting title, not what I was expecting.You do realize Trickle Down is was created by the progressive project. Decades ago Mr. Sowell explained the lefts need of such narratives. Then challenged the project for their proof. Reminds me of the other {kkk, ws,Crow laws} and a great switch.lol  Prefect when the Left needs a boogie man.

The institutions preaches such garbage because it suits them and it's an ez crutch to hold.

Trickle down was part of Reaganomics. 

This is why Trump is so eager to cancel museums, education and historical records.  If he tries hard enough he can convince people like you that "trickle down" came from liberals, that blacks liked slavery, that you can get windmill cancer and that the US never fought against having a king.
