Just for clarity - I have aligned myself mostly with Spinoza. I do not believe in religion. Myself and a couple of others on here were raised Catholic. While being confirmed; I had to kneel and kiss the Bishop's ring. Something in me found that repulsive and that was the end of my journey with them. What I seem unable to convey is having disdain for any group of people as a matter of their belonging/belief/skin color/etc.  is wrong. 

I choose to evaluate the individual. You and I have traveled the world. There are more good people in any society/culture/religion than bad. For me; saying that Christianity is bad isn't right. Bill has acknowleged his Christianity - to say Christianity is bad is to say Bill is bad. To say, blacks or hispanics are bad is to say those that pulled my ass out of the shit are bad. 

Not sure if I'm making my point, but that's where I'm at.

Apologies if you think or I communicated that. My point was about bigotry. Let's say that the message on here has mostly been Christians are bad and that has not been my experience. There are bad and manipulative ones - but most are good people.

I think it comes down to how one defines 'bad.'

My personal experience with Christians is that far too many of them [ not all ] are two-faced.  Party like all get out Saturday nite but make sure you get to church on time Sunday.

I have no time for people like that.

For the life of me, I cannot fathom how any Christian can support the most god-less POTUS in my lifetime.

My former wife is a perfect example of this.

I think it's been more that Christianity has some pretty bad effects, and more and more is being used for ill purposes (attacking trans kids for example.)  Similar to how Trumpism, environmentalism and Islamic extremism is often attacked here.

Since Sunday, Trump has written multiple posts on social media saying that Putin has gone "absolutely crazy" and is "playing with fire" after Russia intensified its attacks on Ukraine." That two week deadline was five weeks ago.

Trump and Putin talked on the phone yesterday and Putin told Trump to pound sand.

What a chapter it will be when the history of the New Soviet Union is written. I pity the fate of any agents we have buried in the Kremlin who don't have the ability to just up and run for it while the getting is good. I also imagine that anyone who was privy to Trumps co-opting has long since taken a leap out of a high window. Putin simply could not have a better dupe in the White House.
