The TACO theory

Recommended Posts

Wall Street's  trendy new acronym: TACO—or “Trump Always Chickens Out.”

The TACO theory was coined earlier this month by Financial Times columnist Robert Armstrong, adding a  name to the practice of loading up on stocks when  Trump first announces the tariffs and then selling when he ultimately backtracks on enforcing them.

In a Wednesday note obtained by Market Watch, Sevens Report Research founder Tom Essaye insisted that Trump does, in fact, always chicken out.

Hi John,

As I have been saying, Trump is the typical school yard bully.  When push comes to shove, they usually chicken out.  So far, Trump is following the script.

IMO Trump is scared shitless of Putin; and Xi also.

What is it that they say in Texas:  All hat and no horse.
