Wow.  Even Elon is feeling the #tregret after contributing hundreds of millions to Trump's presidential campaign.  

Trump today: "The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts."

Tesla shares have fallen 15% so far.

The lovers quarrel is spectacular. Elon’s saying Trump hasn’t released the Epstein files because he’s in them, reposting old Tweets of Trump and asking where that Trump is and has he been replaced by a body double. Saying Trump is ungrateful as without him he would have lost the election.

Yeah - unintentionally hilarious that Musk appears to have only just found out about the very well known relationship between Trump and Epstein, and all the acolytes on his side of the MAGA split are like ‘OMG this is brand new information!’

 

Matched by Trump’s explanation that so many ex-staffers denounce him on the news as a terrible person and even worse president because they just love him and miss him so damn much they can’t deal with it.

It will, and so will 2026. All of these polls etc. that are giving hope will likely be worth the same as the last ones that gave hope. Why should anyone believe that people who have continually voted against their own interests out of ignorance, selfishness, and a desire to hurt others won't do it again?

Eric Brakey is the executive director of the Free State Project.  He is an uber MAGA; right before the election he tweeted "If Trump wins NH by a single vote today, you will be glad I moved and declared my primary residence in NH.”  After the election he was ecstatic that now conservative small-government ideals would now hold sway in the US government.

He was on a cruise recently and when he got back to Florida the INS detained him because of his radical extremist connections to the Free State Project.  He explained to them over and over that his organization was a "a non-violent, peaceful libertarian movement that builds community, culture and political change."  They did not heed his claims.  They felt he was part of a violent extremist group seeking to raise a militia for insurrection against the government.

They dug through all the files on his phone and computer.  He asked them what rights he had, and was told "none."

His account ends to the note "Truth be told, I am shaken up and in shock right now."

See, it's fine when they do it to brown people.  But he was WHITE!  How dare they!
