Aren't You Glad You Voted For Trump

This worries me more:

"It was supposed to be a routine appearance, a visit from the commander in chief to rally the troops, boost morale and celebrate the Army's 250th-birthday week, which culminates with a Washington, D.C., parade slated for Saturday.

Instead, what unfolded Tuesday at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, bore little resemblance to the customary visit from a president and defense secretary. There, President Donald Trump unleashed a speech laced with partisan invective, goading jeers from a crowd of soldiers positioned behind his podium -- blurring the long-standing and sacrosanct line between the military and partisan politics.

As Trump viciously attacked his perceived political foes, he whipped up boos from the gathered troops directed at California leaders, including Gov. Gavin Newsom -- amid the president's controversial move to deploy the National Guard and Marines against protesters in Los Angeles -- as well as former President Joe Biden and the press. The soldiers roared with laughter and applauded Trump's diatribe in a shocking and rare public display of troops taking part in naked political partisanship."

Trump never misses a chance to spread division.

Are white women in the Military as Trumpy by percentage as those in civilian life? Are there more "Christians" by percentage in our military, as it so seems? Whatever is going on it seems wrong and dangerous to me that our military doesn't more directly represent the general population.

Maybe you know this, but it will probably chap your ass after giving so much of your life to being an officer, but the Army is now offering direct commissions as lieutenant colonel to tech bros who donated to Trump so they can play Army in their spare time. https://www.usar.army.mil/Locate-a-Reserve-Unit/How-to-Join/Direct-Commission/  First up are : Andrew Bosworth, CTO of Meta; Shyam Sankar, CTO Palantir; Kevin Weil, CPO of OpenAI; and Bob McGrew, OpenAI’s former research chief and current advisor to Thinking Machines Lab.

Interestingly, the Marine Corps considered something like this a few years ago.  Not direct to LtCol but definitely coming in at a higher rank than just O2.  And to put it into context, these four were commissioned in the reserves. And Army considers for promotion and command by branch, so it's doubtful these four will be eligible for much in the near future. However, all that being said, yeah, it's a bit much.

About your first question: No, white women (whom I have met/worked with) are not as Trumpy.  Then again, most women I work with are officers with significant experience in foreign affairs, so they are definte opposed to him. I don't think there are higher percentages of "Christians," but from my small bubble, there certainly is NOT the higher representation of the blind loyalty, MAGA-type Christians.  A friend of mine is a recent immigrant. She married an enlisted soldier with whom she attended Liberty University.  She has her green card, and posted on election day a pic of herself wearing a MAGA hat and cheering the results.  Now she's having to put off visiting her parents in Papua New Guinea, because she's concerned she won't be able to get back in the U.S. if she leaves.  Yet, she hasn't expressed to me any regret for supporting this admin.

Hi folks,

When one puts idiots in a position of some authority, this what you get:  Trump says Gabbard ‘wrong’ on whether Iran's building a nuclear weapon

Jerry Baumchen

Gabbard just didn't get the message. The IAEA has stated again and again that their monitoring will show if and when the bomb making decision gets made. They just stated again that no decision has been made. Even Netanyahu hasn't stated that the bomb making decision hasn't been made. He just states that they can start building it at any time. A former Israeli prime minister stated that since the war started that Iran hasn't made the decision to build the bomb.

Trump is lying to peddle his message to his base. Nothing new here. His two week delay to make a decision is just him seeing which direction the flags are blowing in front of the WH.

Speaking of idiots. The poor Trump voting dears can't make it without subsidies and medicaid and those darn American workers quit after a few hours, too!  https://www.rawstory.com/trump-farmers-2672410822/

Also, I just love it that there is a Kremlin, Oklahoma.

'They quit after a few hours': Farmers admit they can't find American workers
Dennis Schoenhals stands as a combine harvester is used on wheat in a field at his farm in Kremlin, Oklahoma, U.S., June 12, 2025.

"Blinded to reality" a state of being, The New Left montra.

Witting tools?...dear God,what a screw swister.

Take Biguns advise — drop MSM, read  a book, I'd recommend Rolf Dobelli,"Stop reading the news".

Abstain from the MSM and the MSLSD narrative, look at the brighter side of life. It's not just about narrative,it's also about truth. Rolfs book is high-lighted in my next posting.{WOKE}

But then again you could go to the gay Blue skies and get your opinions,  but alas that would be redundant.LOL

Default idiot being Trump; now it's Tulsi? ...or just theater.

I think you'll agree it's not as bad as Iraq's weapons of mass destruction.... At least she's able to change her mind, lol. Considering her history, she makes for a good "throw her under the bus",victim character for the stage. Anywho.

Hi Jerry

The USCG Barque Eagle will be making ports of call on the west coast this month.I hope you're able to walk her decks. She holds deep memories and meaning to our family. This may be the last time Pops will be able.

I think they'd just be confused. Since, again, to 86 someone means to throw them out... throw him out of what? He hasn't been in for nearly a decade.

That said, did we hear your vocal condemnation of the Republican 'crosshairs' target map during Obama's term? Of course we didn't.

Right - Trump's entire foreign policy platform, which his cheerleaders have not shut up about until literally today, is that he's totally different from all those warmongering presidents who have come before.

So if you try very hard, you might just be able to figure out why saying Trump is the same as Obama when it comes to bombing foreign countries is actually making my point for me.

1) "He's not going to do it!"
2) "OK he might do it because reasons"
3) "Obama did it first"

You guys are nothing if not predictable.

Sure, if your stated goal is to remove him from the golf club he is currently playing at.

Unfortunately, you guys go more for mass murder, vandalism and looting than you do for nonviolent solutions.

Is it worse to be gay, or to be a woman? Because either appears to be an insult

Throw in Christian and you've got it.

Everyone can see how they are oppressed, and few can see how they're doing the oppressing. It's that whole "walk a mile in another's shoes" thing, and not just because now you have their shoes and they can't run.
