Biden out

Recommended Posts

This should represent an immediate 10-15 point swing to the democrats. Given the huge numbers who said that they wanted neither Trump nor Biden.

Once again Trump is able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Who thinks that Trump would have done the same?

Biden just announced he would not seek re-election.

I gotta say I did not think he would do this.  I thought we'd see another Ginsberg.  Good for him for making a decision for the good of the country, and not just for his own personal good.

Hi Bill,

I agree that it does surprise me.

However, I am very glad that he has put the country ahead of his own desires.

Good for him!

Hi Keith,

Whitmer/Kelly, if you please.

Afternoon, Jerry

Just some random thoughts - Promoting VP Harris as the key replacement is more of a way to keep the PAC funds and I do not think she's the best person for the job (i.e., Border Czar). Whitmer - I just don't know. The Democrat party is going to have to take into account the southern Democrats are Billy Joe Bobs and I'm not sure they're ready for a female President. Or a Kamala/Whitmer ticket.

IMO - the best strategic plan would be a Kelly/Moore ticket. Let's keep in mind the number of Trump dissatisfied Republicans and a way to shift then as a FOR instead of an AGAINST rather then being like me and not voting. I can easily jump out of the door for a Kelly/Moore ticket.

Hi Keith,

It is old, but it is still appropriate:  We live in interesting times.

Stay tuned, film at 11.

If it's strategy you want why not by executive order postpone the coming election pending the results of Trumps several trials. Can't have someone guilty of treason in the oval office, seems to me. And to start the show rip apart every mansion, hovel, or golf course he owns looking for evidence and immediately get him under a bright light for questioning.

mmmmmmakes sense. Except Trump has a couple aces in his back pocket and they have rewarded him already. spacer.png

All of the above have shown a willingness to pander to conservative causes and disregard the constitution.

Ya', well let try it from Barrow, Alaska where their new office is while Biden fills their seats in DC.

Hi Keith,

Re:  Promoting VP Harris as the key replacement is more of a way to keep the PAC funds

It looks like Harris's legal team has filed the necessary paperwork to secure the PAC funds.

Re:   I do not think she's the best person for the job

Nor do I.  However, as I watch a CBS News Special Report, it looks like the party is uniting behind her.  Probably to prevent a blood-letting within the party.

Apparently, she is staying quiet today.  One news-type said that she might be waiting for Biden's speech to the country within the next few days.

Update:  Apparently, the latest news from the Obama's is not anything like an endorsement of Harris.

It's going to be fun,

Jerry Baumchen

PS)  With this fast-moving news event, 'apparently' is my new buzzword of the moment.

Winnipeg recently changed the name of a major road from Bishop Grandin to Abinojii Micanah. The local right wing is losing their shit over it.

Perhaps they could leak that the road was actually named after Temple Grandin, an autistic woman, and is therefore woke.  That way they could sell it as "NO NORE WOKE!"

When in reality Bishop Grandin was a force behind the residential school system that did so much damage.
