Let's hope that at least a few of the GOP pols are smart enough to compare the No Kings turnout with the birthday party turnout, and get the message.

Governor Pritzker openly encouraged protest and Chicago, Illinois is blue and has a fond history of protest to support No Kings. Do you think there was a single No Kings assembly that would give Trump second thoughts? He doesn't even have first thoughts.

My point is that we need to refrain from self back patting and straw grasping over these demonstrations. It's a great start, sure, but comparing the crowds to Trumps parade crowd is as fruitless as when we compared his inauguration crowd to Obama's. He's back. We need way more than a small percentage of non-Trump voters showing up one day out of 365 to get any message to Republicans.

Pancake Trump reminds me of the skit:  'Who's on First.'

Then we get this:  Agents at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have been ordered to resume workplace raids at hotels, restaurants and farms

If there is a policy to this madness, I sure as hell cannot find it.
