My suspicion is - when someone figures out the logisitical, feeding, housing, security, etc, issues at about a 100M dollar price tag . . .

Feeding?  Housing?  Security?  Transport?  What are you, an ivory tower out of touch intellectual?  You drive the tanks there and you march the men there!  Done!  Costs a few hundred bucks worth of fuel, tops.

Good that we have folks so bereft of figuring abilities offering suggestions. But, I was thinking of the folks in uniform, and not necessarily the ones assigned to glorify Dear Leader on his special day. What percentage of our uniformed services, and break it down by branch if you want, support Trump to where they think it's a swell idea?

Hi folks,

As much as it hurts, I saw this coming:  Trump moves to slash NPR, PBS funding over ‘radical, woke propaganda disguised as ‘news’' - oregonlive.com

He wants to silence all of us.

Jerry Baumchen

PS)  Let's hope that she is successful:  PBS chief slams Trump’s attempt to cut funding for PBS and NPR as ‘blatantly unlawful’ - oregonlive.com

I spent a lot of time with Charles Hagen (RIP) FDEM Chief of Logistics for Florida. Every year he gave a class at the Governor's Hurricane Conference on why a bag of ice costs $75.00 during a disaster.

And even more:

FOX News: "What do you think they [Trump protesters] want?  What do you think they need, right now, from you?"

Trump:  "Protesters for different reasons. You're protesting also because, you know, they just didn't know. I've watch  . . .I watched very closely. Why are you here?  They really weren't able to say, but they were there for a reason, perhaps. But a lot of them really were there because they're following the crowd. A lot of them were there because what we witnessed was a terrible thing. What we saw was a terrible thing. And we've seen it over the years. We haven't, you know, this was one horrible example, but you've seen other terrible examples. You know that better than anybody who would know it. And I know it. I've seen it, too. I've seen it before I was president. I've seen it. I think it's a shame. I think it's a disgrace. And it's got to stop."

So Trump doesn't know what the people protesting him want.  But whatever they are protesting, it's a terrible thing.  It's a shame, it's a disgrace, and it's got to stop.

Look, it's very simple.  It's because of Sleepy Joe Biden.  Everyone is talking about how Sleepy Joe made all those people melt the ice.  They didn't want to melt the ice, but he said melt the ice, for the illegals.  I know more about ice than Charles Hagen, who is a Florida DEM.  No one knows more about ice than me.

Next year we will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

During a recent interview, the interviewer noticed the Declaration of Independence hanging near Trump's desk.  "What does it mean to you?" the interviewer asked Trump.  For most politicians this would be a softball question, allowing them to wax lyrical about how America was formed to create a haven for liberty and freedom by overthrowing the tyranny of English control etc etc.

But Trump doesn't know what the Declaration of Independence is, so he answered:

"Well it means exactly what it says, it's a declaration, it's a declaration of unity and love and respect and it means a lot and its something very special to our country."

Especially funny since it's literally a declaration of DISunity.

Don't immigrants have to demonstrate they know what the Declaration of Independence is before they get their citizenship?  Maybe he could ask his wife.  If he can find her.

Well that’s like 0.01% of the trillion bucks that Doge is gonna save, so really it’s just sensible budgeting.

Hi Bill,

Trump continues to support the argument that he is the dumbest POTUS in our history.

And, he is so stupid he does not even know that he is doing so.

The interview that Bill is referring to is worth watching in full. Jesus Christ I laughed at the MS-13 tattoo part!

How someone that gullible got elected I don’t know.

Today: "If you take out all the negative numbers, the GDP is up."

We honestly need a dedicated MAGA maths thread.

Did you see the Fentanyl figures from Bondy? 258 Million American lives saved in the last 100 days - from a grand total of 22 million pills.

I’m in Venice right now. There’s a story of a 14th Century Doge who tried to accumulate too much power for himself. They beheaded him.

Rather like Charles I of England

Maybe a lesson there

Each pill could conceivably kill 12 people.  If you, for example, fired it from a railgun and then lined up 12 people in front of it.

Just now, JoeWeber said:

Maybe this will wake up the six catholics on the Supreme Court

Why?  It does several good things for them.

1) It owns the libs.

2) The (late) Pope made them feel bad by saying that deporting immigrants, kidnaping and jailing innocent US children and canceling charity was anti-Christian.  This lets them "strike back" in a way and make themselves feel better about what they have done.

3) The idea that Trump, a sex offender, fraud and convicted felon, could be Pope, makes other people with similar misdeeds in their backgrounds believe that even they could be seen as virtuous and moral.

Overall it's a win/win for Trump and his supporters.

Libs always over complicate things!

The cartels are giving the pills to the school bus drivers!

Or airline pilots!  I think you're on to something here.

Although then you'd need two per plane.  I bet we can still make the math work.
