Positive image in Longmont

Hands down the most positive news story on skydiving that I've ever seen. Makes me wonder if DZO's do/or should go out of their way to invite reporters to do a tandem. But I did get a kick out of the FAA certified 'riggers' that pack the tandems. (probably best not to clarify that FAR to her)

I don't know for a fact if it was or wasn't despite common sense saying that yes of course there was some sort of small trade off. Either way, its the best thing that could have happened in the way of public image for MHSC right now. The world needs more smiles, less complaints.

I've known DZs that will invite reporters out to do a tandem for no charge. Understanding that a positive story will come out of it. It's not a revenue generator for the news organization, but they aren't paying what the general public would for the experience.

The stories I've seen come from that sort of thing are very similar to this one. I see nothing wrong with it.

It's a very positive story, and perhaps the newsies are aware of the situation, and wanted to show the public what it's like from the other side.
