When I was giving the money to my grandchildren, I told their parents, 'I cannot think of anything better to do with the money.'

Literally the only real scandal in the Biden White House is that his dog keeps biting people (which is genuinely quite a bad thing and they really need to send him away) but I dont think the House committee is going to be very interested in that.

I'm getting weary of the showmanship that is the drive to impeach whoever is in charge.  It brings to mind the lazy Barrister who gets to court. and reads the brief from the Solicitor to the effect of 'no case - abuse the plaintiff.'

That's the exact goal of the R's in this case.  Trump is an obvious - and admitted - criminal who tried to extort a world leader to dig up dirt on Biden, and then incited an insurrection at the Capitol as part of a wide-spread 'whacky scheme' to reverse the results of an election he lost.  That's why he was impeached.

No doubt Hunter Biden had some issues in his past, but I don't have any idea what that has to do with impeaching his dad.  The R's can't even articulate the crimes for which they're trying to impeach Biden, but no doubt a large chunk of this is northing more than an attempt to confuse uninformed voters into shrugging their shoulders and writing the whole thing off as political theatre.  "Both sides are just going after the other's leader"  

Since we all know that you're the least uninformed person on this forum, I guess you're just ignoring the differences outlined above and spreading the word of the R's?

I'd bet it will be very similar to the Devon Archer testimony.

He testified behind closed doors.

The Rs spread all sorts of rumours about how damaging the testimony was for the Bidens.

A variety of people said (more or less):

"That's NOT what he said".

So the Rs (finally) released the transcripts. 

Which revealed the Rs were lying through their teeth about the Bidens.

The ridiculousness of the idea that a President should be impeached under a tit-for-tat legal theory in the hopes that some  impeachable offense will be revealed is just gobsmackingly absurd. And it's not that Comer and Jones don't admit it, they do, and they see no problem with it. The cultists themselves are as blind to the real purpose of the impeachment process, much less what might constitute an impeachable offense. They're all like those Zombie Ants that keep climbing up the grass until they get eaten by a cow: it's a brain infection that drives their behavior and no amount of conversation can ever hope to change them.

Yeah!  If they arrested Hunter Biden, arrest Ivanka!  It's only fair.  I am sure once she's arrested they will find something on her.  After all, she was selling Chinese shoes from the White House; that's basically treason.  And there is a lot more evidence she did that than evidence that the republicans have Hunter Biden's laptop.
