...That is exactly right.  99.9% of mutations are bad.....

i have to clarify this. I would go with this "A single mutation can have a large effect, but in many cases, evolutionary change is based on the accumulation of many mutations with small effects. Mutational effects can be beneficial, harmful, or neutral, depending on their context or location. Most non-neutral mutations are deleterious."

Mutations drive the adaption of a organism. We just went through a Covid epidemic and the mutations of that virus is what allowed it to spread and be more successful. Beneficial mutations may become more common through natural selection which drives the success of that organism.

I'll give an example that can be best understood by the republican mind. Its generally recognized that people don't have sex(reproduction) with close relatives. There are the religious and societal objections to such conduct. There is also the science based reasons to avoid this. Except in Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, etc. i.e. MAGA states. Where intercourse and marriage with close relatives is accepted, cherished even. trump, a Florida resident, even hinted at this through the many references to the sexual attractiveness of his own daughter Ivanka.

The outcome of these unions is "Bubba" with six toes, and Mary-Jo pictured below

Obviously because all people are created equal. Mary-Jo can watch FOX and vote in elections in the US.

Anyone remember the Peacock family in "The X-Files" S4E2 "Home"?

If I post is a Bitchute video you say .. That's a bad source...  too Conservative.. If I post a Rumble video you say ... Bad Source, too conservative .. NOW you finally get around to the most Liberal Source on the net and you say ... Bad Source....

Youtube isn't a source, it is a video hosting website. I prefer to read and track down the actual source of the information. So, do you have a source for your claim?

Hi folks,

As been said many times, you cannot fix stupid:  Anti-vaxxers, flush with cash, now have political power - POLITICO

I've reached the point where I am just fine with them being as they are.  Let'em die; we are better off without them.

Agree but rest easy Jerry. Ten million is hardly flush with cash in the context of total US lobbing groups. There is little news coverage but they are still slowly dying off from their stupidity.

Got my shots (Flu, COVID) yesterday.  I have no desire to join the anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers underground just yet.  Black line is  stupid/MAGA,/unvaccinated, blue is vaccinated.

I'll just get the flu shot this time around. After 3 1/2 years of avoiding the virus it finally found me on the Labour Day weekend. And I even gave it to my wife before I realized I had it. We both tested positive. I think that gives me the highly sought after "hybrid immunity" for the rest of the season.

Yeah, I got it for the first time last month — in Canada (blame Canada). So my anticipated booster before coming to Brazil
