So on Monday someone posted an AI generated picture of an explosion at the Pentagon, followed by an explosion at the White House.  The stock market immediately dropped by half a trillion dollars.

And this is not only a sign of the times, but the Moab sub-plot of Neal Stephenson's recent book Fall.

New era of market manipulation. My guess is the first reaction is going to be a time delay on trading when this becomes more frequent.

I completely agree.  And, I have little concern as to the manipulating of the stock mkt.  It is the 2024 election where we will see it at it's worse.
