davjohns 1 #26 June 20, 2014 I agree with most of what was posted here. I'm also a SCUBA diver as well. Fortunately, my tubes seems generous and I rarely have issues. I take a decongestant before diving just to be safe. You might consider that the cause and effect that you are presuming is not correct. There might be an issue that is completely unconnected to the skydive and the arrival of symptoms at that time was random. If symptoms persist, I would ask for an x-ray at least. I have had the doctor examine me and see nothing, but see a raging sinus infection on x-rays.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

PiLFy 3 #28 June 21, 2014 FWIW, I have troublesome eustacian tubes that don't always equalize well. I once had vapor lock on one side that lasted for about three days. Drove me nuts. I got a script for Astelin from my ENT. The nasal med drips slowly into the back of your throat when lying down. It dripped onto the eustacian tube opening, & cleared it. YMMV. Good Luck.
