Hi folks,

Do you think these type of tactics will work:  Republicans have long feuded with the mainstream media. Now many are shutting them out : NPR

Jeez, I wonder why:  reporters have been frustrated by getting extremely limited access to . . . Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker, and Alaska congressional candidate Sarah Palin

For these two idiots to open their mouths, it would probably doom any chance of getting elected.

Bad assumption.  In the post-truth media environment, the candidate that makes the most noise, and says the things that most "own the libs" wins.

I listened to her report on this over the weekend.  The takeaway seemed to be that several R's had come to the conclusion that the potential benefit of talking to 'hostile' reporters was far outweighed by the potential downside of having audio of them getting trapped in a 'gotcha' question (you know, like 'why do you want to strip away the rights of millions of women?')
