I should have put those countries in the list as well. But I was thinking of countries that have been outspoken about Russian dangers. Thankfully Poland has just kicked out its right wing politicians. Although Poland has really stepped up military weapons purchases.

I have read that there are factions in Polish politics and the military that REALLY want Russia to attack them.

They're looking for an excuse to take revenge for all the atrocities Russia has committed against Poland over the last, oh, 500 years or so.

Based upon Russian battlefield performance and reports the Poles might have a chance. But the Putin kleptocracy is not in any way similar to the Stalin rule. I have heard recent reports where grenades, bullets, rifles, etc. are all in short supply. But that N. Korean artillery rounds have arrived.

The US GDP growth is forecast to grow at 4.9% this year while Russia is forecast to grow at 2.2% The US population is growing by .5% a year while Russia is losing 1/2 million a year. Russian population loses from migration and war is equal to the heights of the covid epidemic.

But Russia has a bigger asset in its back pocket in this comparison. It owns the US political right. It may own the next US president, again.

That's a common belief among people in the conservative news bubble.  The economy sucks, our GDP is dropping, unemployment is at an all time high, EVs don't work, solar doesn't work, EV's are charged with coal, all EV's are made by slave labor, the climate isn't changing etc etc.  It used to be hard to maintain such an alternative worldview in the face of reality, but nowadays if you set your Facebook filters right that's all you see.
