Jesus also declared "It is finished" just before he died.  The greek word he used was an accounting term meaning paid in full

Jesus also said the current generation wouldn't pass away before he came back.

How can you have hope in a book that contradicts itself, is provably wrong on numerous accounts, full of scientific inaccuracies, and offers advice on how to beat your slaves and kill your fellow man for believing differently?  It's pie in the sky nonsense.

Better a harsh truth than a comforting lie.

This signified not the final coming of Jesus but his coming in judgement on the nation of Israel which did in fact come to pass in A.D. 70. The city and temple were destroyed.  The people dispersed.  It established the age of the gentiles where the church was no longer just a Jewish community but belonged to anyone who would repent and place their faith in Jesus Christ.

And, proved the value of using large fonts when you have no way of proving anything you say.

So Jesus returns twice after his supposed death?  Once to judge Israel then again at some future date for the rest of mankind?

Well, he also returned after his death and resurrection to appear to hundreds of witnesses following his crucifixion but who's counting?

According to what?  The easily disprovable bible?  The scientifically inaccurate contradictory book?
