That's a great boogie. We went there for two years - 2002 and 2003 I think.

Jumps over the glacier!
Flying a C206 down a 100 foot wide crack in a glacier! (well below the surface)
Sarah Palin as mayor of the town!
Setting the state record! (and of course we landed out)
Demoing tiny canopies! (perfect conditions for that)
Mosquitoes the size of twigs!
Cottonwood seeds like snow all over everything!

One afternoon we were waiting for the plane for a close-to-sunset load, and the plane landed and taxiied right past us. "What's up?" we asked. "Pilot's tired," the manifester said. "He's going to bed." "But we still have sunlight!" we protested. "It's almost 11pm" said the manifester.

Sounds about right.

I think last year the sunset load was at 11:55ish, which is crazy because the sun is below the mountains, but not the horizon. Way fun though.
