At that protest one of the major networks was interviewing a woman about 45 yr old.  "We have to go back to work" She bends her head to show about six inches of grey hair roots on the top of her head. "We have to get to the hairdressers". Poor thing!

While in other countries $3000 fines and six months in jail. Are the results for those who don't understand that segments of society need protections from C-19.Welcome to the world that the "me" president has created.

What are they saying? That the Constitution protects their Right to Infect?

I think it's more like, finally we get to carry stupid guns to the courthouse and wear masks

That's the state capital building where a couple thousand people in cars were honking their horns in protest of the Governor's restrictions which apparently are some of the most stringent in the country.

"At least 200 people broke the instructions of organizers, getting out of their cars to congregate around the steps of the capitol building, flouting social-distancing guidelines to remain 6-feet apart, and not wearing masks."

Michigan has a law against brandishing. They need to enforce it. I'm tired of seeing these idiots doing this shit.

Idiots is the word. They have no idea of the damage that images like that do to gun owners. Makes gun owners look like nutjobs.

That's why we have a constitution.  It keeps unreasonable things like this from happening.

I think you should tell these guys in person.  (At least 6 feet away, of course)

So then are you agreeing with the use of guns to discourage active pushback? That is the "why the second amendment guns" argument, but what if the people using the guns are, in fact, wrong? There is no case where a pandemic is going to be dealt with, without hurting some people. The matter is choosing whether we let some of them get sick, or let others' money go away.

I don't agree with them breaking the law.  BUT . . .how many protesters in the past have been arrested for protesting?  (Now that everyone has a fear of Covid-19, all of a sudden, magically, protesting is bad.)

I wholeheartedly agree with them exercising their right to protest, peacefully.

How many freedoms are you willing to give up because of this virus?

Anecdotally, how many freedoms would the founders have given up because of this virus?

Those protesters are obviously willing suffer the consequences for their actions.  So be it.

I see their violence as evil.

Yet you failed just this week in an attempt to show an example of their violence. I'm sure with a little more work you could find something resembling violence. And most likely property damage. But over all Antifa is just what I called it. A boogeyman to the right and mostly fighting a just fight.

Just so I'm clear, are you defending their actions, condoning them?

Diminishing what they have done?  Minimizing it to make it seem less than it really is?

You should really do your own homework.  I'll do it for you, this time:

I guess I took your statement that someone should tell them in person as "if you dare -- they have guns." And that's the part I disagree with. The protest, no, of course not. Using the potential for intimidation in this manner is more troubling. I see this as being VERY different from using a baseball bat to get the point across to the goober with his drone next door.
