That when he stood up in the cabin in his executive jet. The pilot turned around and asked him if he needed anything. Jesse responded that the pilot should just fly the jet and let him communicate directly with Jesus Christ about jet ownership. RonD1120 62 #7 May 29, 2018 When Jesse is on a roll he is hilarious. Many folks look upon these televangelists as entertainment. They send money same as you people pay for concerts, Broadway shows, Star Wars tickets or I-phones. The reason is that they do not attend secular venues. However, I won't send them a dime.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them. tkhayes 348 #11 May 29, 2018 this is hardly new. We used to watch Jerry Falwell and the Bakers back int eh 80's while drinking beer and laughing our asses off. EXACT same monologues.... "But if you are that one donor that can send us $1M, we can get God's message to the world...." But hey, if I can convince you on TV to send me your social security check and then you send me your social security check - I mean that is capitalism, in its purest form. ryoder 1,590 #14 May 29, 2018 billvon WWJF? I think Jesus would be smart enough to realize what a waste of money it is to be the sole owner of a private jet. He would understand that fractional ownership (eg Netjet) or an Uber-type arrangement (eg Jetsmarter) would leave more money to actually benefit the needy. In fact, if Jesus was really smart, he would discover this new-fangled communications medium that broadcasts images and audio, enabling Him to reach orders of magnitude more people, thereby rendering physical travel obsolete."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. Jesus would be _running_ Netjet (and a few other companies) and funnelling the money into small-cap stocks. With a little omniscience coupled with a long term, high risk investment strategy, he could be richer than Buffett in ten years. And anyone who reads the Bible knows that that is what Jesus is all about - wealth, good sales numbers and business success. And of course living in the lap of luxury, avoiding all the lesser undesirables.
