Interestingly, today I have been viewing a compendium of videos depicting the strong dislike or hatred of McCain by Vietnam Veterans. But they just love the son of a rich family, who arranged for 5 deferments (including one for "bone spurs" all the while playing varsity sports where his "bone spurs" miraculously didn't affect his playing in the least). Going to guess it's the POW/MIA crowd. It certainly isn't all, most, or even 'many' of them. That crowd had some good arguments, and it was horribly botched by the government. But for some reason, every 'discoverer' or 'source' of living POWs in Viet Nam turned out to be a con artist. Every legit search came up empty. Whenever I see a statement like this it's always, "I've talked to vets who dislike McCain..." but are never able to validate why. It's never the actual Vet making the point, it's always someone else who said it so they don't even have to provide proof, they can just live off of the merit that it exists in some secret circle.
