Recommended Posts

I don’t know how many fellow nurses are on dz dot com. But I’m offended . By their policy of offering tandem discounts for nurses week. But only to registered nurses. Us lowly licensed practical nurses even with A 28 year career arnt worthy

I agree 100%. I've been married twice. Both times to nurses. Both were LPNs for a couple years before becoming RNs. Both will tell anyone who asks that the LPNs they know are highly under-rated. They are some of the best and most experience nurses out there.

DZOs probably don't understand anything about this though. It's good that you are bringing it up.

There’s a reason it’s not called “RN” week and instead called “Nurses” week.

I just came across this and being intrigued; looked it up. Seems to be a bit muddy. It's called National Nurses Week, but it stems from National "RN Day" Not sure if there was a pivot from a day to a week and if the intent was to change it up to National Nurses Week or be National RN Week.

Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
