While I agree with you, and if a mate was doing something I disagreed with (this doesn't need to be to do with infidelity by the way) then I will take them aside and have a word. I wouldn't however do it in front of my SO or anyone else for that matter. I find it completely unreasonable for anyone to expect their friends to live by their sense of morality. I see your point as far as calling your friend out in public but would you publicly praise him for the same actions that you might disagree with? That's where I see the issue. If you praise someone for their indiscretions then in my eyes its openly saying that you see nothing wrong with a little infidelity. But once again...we all have our opinions.
