Pat Carpenter - Cranfield/Netheravon 1990s

Recommended Posts

We wanted to let any old friends from Cranfield, Netheravon, occasionally WotG and other UK DZs, adventures with the boogie club and POPS meets, that Pat Carpenter was released from a long illness on Tuesday 11th May, 2010 aged 59.

From acting as "dummy" for first jump courses at Cranfield, to being British POPS Hit and Rock champion on three occasions, with over 400 jumps during the 1990's his enjoyment of jumping was cut short by heart problems in 1999.

I'm sure many of you will remember him, and we've tried to find friends through facebook and other contacts.

The funeral will be at Swindon crematorium but is still to be arranged, so do contact me on chrissycarpenter123@yahoo.co.uk and I'll get more information here when I have it.

His family - wife Chris and sons Martyn and David would welcome any memories and anecdotes you might have. We knew him for the last 20 years, and hope that some of you may have happy stories with which we may remember his exciting life more fully.

Especially we are having difficulty contacting Mike Budden - best man at Pat and Chris' wedding - any help appreciated.
