AlanS 1 #1 September 26, 2017 The Kurdish people in the middle-east span 4 nations - Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran - are the largest ethnic group without their own country. Should they be allowed to have their own nation? Here is a PBS News Hour video about the Kurdish YPJ in Syria. Niki1 2 #5 September 26, 2017 SkyDekker The US and England should get together and carve out a piece of land and give it to them. What could possibly go wrong? Yeah. What could go wrong? We tried drawing some lines on maps a hundred years ago. See how well that's working out? Since we've already fucked up Iraq to a fair-thee-well, we could use that area as compensation. Split it into Sunni, Shie'a (sp) and Kurd. Give the Sunni part to Saudi Arabia, the Shie'a part to Iran. Syria has too many problems of its own. As for Turkey, let them into the European Union. No one ever accused me of being a diplomat. Most of the things worth doing in the world had been declared impossilbe before they were done.
