In the meantime the US is like someone's grandparents doing a bad job figuring out Skype. Edit: I'm waiting for them to swoop in on North Korea as a protectorate creating a buffer against Vladilovstock and further access to warm water ports, something they've sought for centuries. If there's any lesson they took from the Cold War it's that it's very expensive to rule the land in which you hold your military.
