Trumps 36% approval rating

******Discussion on the radio how the poll undersampled the Republicans by 12 points i.e., Democrats 35% and Republicans 23%.

How to lie with statistics, the science of political math.

It isn't a matter of having to lie.

Many idiots who voted for Trump simply just believe what they want to believe and ignore reality.

I guess this is what happens when money and guns is more important than one of them lieberal edumacations.

http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/342700-poll-nearly-half-of-trump-voters-dont-think-trump-jr-met-with-russian

You're confused, because it's the delusional idiots that voted for Hillary that are causing the problems today.

Maybe....but all I am seeing is minority Democrats being a lot more effective than majority Republicans.

Looks like the Republicans with 8 years of preparation and a majority all around can't get anything done. In stead of taking responsibility, working harder and smarter, they just blame others for their own inabilities. Like special little snowflakes they cannot be responsible for their own actions and point fingers.

Great leadership indeed.

Republicans control the presidency, the house and the senate. Their problems are 100% their own. This is one time they won't be able to blame the nearest democrat.

Look, I know you are pining for a Hillary presidency; that would make your attacks logical. But as it stands you are coming across as completely unhinged.

Back to do what you are best at, Twisting....

Ya, the republicans have their problems but, all they need do is kill the filibuster and move forward.

But they do not want to move forward because many of them have the same goal as the Democrats.

And that goal is keep government big and keep power.
In the end it is about control and money. And the Washington establishment knows that Trump is the biggest threat to that they have had to deal with in a long time.
And with a corrupt media that we now know colludes with Democrat campaigns and party, only fake news gets out anymore. And you regurgitate it here regularly like any good lemming would do.

But your TDS will not allow you to see it.
And I do not expect that to change.....

In 6 months of Presidency, Trump has Tweeted 991 times, spent 40 days at Trump golfing properties, and passed ZERO pieces of major legislation.

Considering the climate in DC today I say he has done pretty good. Especially reversing Obamas bs exec orders.

>Ya, the republicans have their problems but, all they need do is kill the filibuster

Yes, that's all they need to do. And they can't even do that. They can't even get enough support within their own party to move forward; turns out some republican senators actually have principles, and that is getting in the way of the GOP's plans.

>But they do not want to move forward because many of them have the same

Yes, some have principles. Sen. Capito summed it up well:

"As I have said before, I did not come to Washington to hurt people. For months, I have expressed reservations about the direction of the bill to repeal and replace Obamacare. My position on this issue is driven by its impact on West Virginians. With that in mind, I cannot vote to repeal Obamacare without a replacement plan that addresses my concerns and the needs of West Virginians."

So perhaps, as you say, the GOP will get people to abandon their principles, go with partisan politics and yank healthcare from millions of Americans. At this point I halfway hope they just do it. That will be the quickest way to replace them in 2018.

Now you show you don't even know the meaning of being principled!!!

And you don't even know the twist you are believing when you regurgitate the millions of Americans losing health care crap.

I feel sorry for you that your judgment is so clouded by your emotions anymore.

There is no filibuster Marc. They only need 50 votes plus Pence. They can't agree among themselves.

Principled - choosing the welfare of the people you represent over blind partisan politics.

From The Hill:
=======
About 22 million people would lose health insurance coverage in the next decade under the most recent revision of the Senate’s ObamaCare replacement bill, according to a new Congressional Budget Office analysis.

The filibuster is still in place for legislative bills. The senate republicans only used the nuclear option for judicial nominations.
That's why the senate was trying to repeal Obamacare using the budget reconciliation process. If they tried to push thru new legislation to repeal, they would then need 60 votes to close discussion

Please. Please go ahead and explain why you think that repealing the ACA will NOT result in millions losing healthcare coverage, despite every bipartisan report saying it will.

I'm really curious what data you're looking at.

Wow, so you mean they would have to try and build some consensus? Like actually build a plan and sell the plan. Like, maybe do their jobs?

Obama was able to do it en he is a socialist muslim Kenyan. How come a true red-blooded hero American capitalist, whose self-proclaimed best skill is closing the deal, can't do it?

Big news! Trump support for foreign affairs tops 50%! In a recent Pew poll, pollsters asked people if they had confidence that Trump would do the right thing regarding world affairs. 53% said yes.

Wait - that's his support in Russia. Worldwide it's 22%, compared to Obama's 64%. (In Trump's defense, that's almost 30%.)

New approval rating is out! Trump's approval rating is up to . . . 35%. But that's almost 40%. And besides, backwards it's 53%, which is more than 2, so he's more backwards popular than Obama, who backwards approval was 26% at this point in his presidency.

Trump approval rating dips to 35 percent, new poll finds
July 26, 2017, 5:00 PM
CBS

Thirty-five percent of Americans approve of President Trump's job performance, according to a Reuters poll released Wednesday. Fifty-nine percent disapprove of the job the president is doing. The new data mark a bit of a drop in Mr. Trump's poll numbers: less than two weeks ago, on July 14, the president's approval rating in the same Reuters survey stood at 42 percent, and his disapproval rating stood at 55 percent.

Which is nearly more than 50%

Sad thing is that 35% of Americans are so fucking stupid/ignorant/venal that they think he's doing a good job.

Rasmussen, the most right-leaning mainstream poll (and Trump's favorite) is out with a new approval rating - 39% approve, 61% disapprove.

Only a few short months ago Trump tweeted gleefully "The new Rasmussen Poll, one of the most accurate in the 2016 Election, just out with a Trump 50% Approval Rating." I suspect he won't be tweeting about this one.

Sen. Flake (R, AZ) has some pretty tough words for Trump and his own party:

read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asin=B073TJYBRN&preview=newtab&linkCode=kpe&ref_=cm_sw_r_kb_dp_txqGzbTMPBW9P&tag=thewaspos09-20&reshareId=HE48S5RFXZ1CNGC5V67K&reshareChannel=system

“In the tweeting life of our president, strategy is difficult to detect,” Flake writes. “Influencing the news cycles seems to be the principal goal; achieving short-term tactical advantage, you bet. But ultimately, it’s all noise and no signal. We have quite enough volatile actors to deal with internationally as it is without becoming one of them.”

Flake argues that the “Faustian bargain” that conservatives made in embracing Trump has “put at risk our institutions and our values” and that “the strange specter of an American president’s seeming affection for strongmen and authoritarians is almost impossible to believe.”

Maybe when one of their own says it (instead of those liberals who must always be opposed), people like Rush will be able to look at Trump's embracing of mass-murderer Duterte and his genuine admiration of de-facto dictator Putin's 'strong' leadership and acknowledge that it is not right. These are not the actions and ideals that any democratically elected official should be praising, or - perish the thought - desire to emulate.

Don't bet on it.

Admitting they were wrong, accepting that the stories in the "main stream media" were correct, admitting that the "liberals" were (gasp!) correct in their assessment of Trump are all things that those types are never going to do.

It's almost as if they would rather see the country go down the tubes than admit they made a mistake.

Wait a minute, scratch the "almost".

The way we see it is that we are in a culture war and President Trump is our war time leader. He may be a S.O.B. but he is our S.O.B.

Look how the liberals treated the George W Bush, John McCain and Mitt Romney for their dignity, decorum, and protocol.

That's exactly the point. You bitch and moan and whine and cry about how divided the country is and why isn't the other side trying to unite with you... when your own view of the other side is that they are the enemy in a war. That everything Trump is, does or says is excusable because he's fighting your war against the people you blame for spreading disunity.

Look how Trump treated McCain. Oh wait, I forgot - it only matters that the other side was bitchy towards him. It doesn't matter that Trump made worse comments than anyone else, because he's your bitch.:S

Interesting conversation between Robert Reich and a Republican Ex-Congressman. This, however, must be taken with a grain of salt. Robert Reich is very Left and VERY MUCH an opponent of Trump.

Not to mention his very successful, drama free, zero federal investigations, high class, professional, Presidency.
8 years of international respect that might take a few POTUS' to re-establish.

OK, back the racial division restoration in the country thanks to the Make America White Again admin.
