One of those landlords is Trump himself, who earns millions of dollars each year as a part-owner of Starrett City, the nation’s largest subsidized housing complex. Trump’s 4 percent stake in the Brooklyn complex earned him at least $5 million between January of last year and April 15, according to his recent financial disclosure. =========================

TriGirl 349 #3 June 22, 2017 Rick It is amazing how much $$$ can be made off of 'affordable" housing At first I was horrified that I fall into that category -- I have a rental occupied by a tenant who gets more than half her rent paid by a government program. But then realized that I would make that income regardless of who lived in the house. That particular tenant would just be SOL if she lost out on that program -- trying to find a home she could afford for herself and her three kids on whatever it is she makes. So, I'm not such a monster, because my property can be rented to anyone, and I bring in the same regardless of who pays.
