Wanted? Perhaps some democrats, who want to reclaim the Senate and House. But most Republicans, when they heard Trump's win, were ecstatic, thinking that a Trump win would mean better government, implementation of great conservative legislation, a new beginning. They got a dumpster fire. Heck, a lot of Republicans are wishing Clinton won at this point - they could be attacking her nonstop instead of trying to defend a buffoon's constant gaffes. Even here in SC many right wingers prefer talking about Clinton than Trump, as evidenced by this thread.

In skydiving, everyone has met the 100 jump wonder. He jumps a parachute way to small for his skill level, tries to get on dives that are way over what he should be on, screws a Gopro to his helmet so he can post his rad xtreme dives on Youtube and starts wingsuiting with an intermediate suit. And you can talk until you are blue in the face; they can't hear it, because they know better.

And sometimes the only way they will learn is a serious injury - not something that will cripple them, but something that will scare the shit out of them. Because then there's a good chance they will learn from their mistakes.

Will we do the same? Perhaps. But I have a feeling that Trump could get us into World War III and conservatives would find a way to blame Clinton, rather than realize that it was their fault that Trump was put in charge to begin with.

IMO, if we get into WWIII blame will be at the bottom of our list of priorities.
