New HHS secretary - tattoos are for drug users

Recommended Posts

Means jack in court when you're sued for improperly handling a sexual assault case, but sure.
These are legal decisions and impact on a company that should not be discarded at a managerial level.

I've only ever had to deal with this as a manger once, while on a project trip.
I removed the person in question from the project and notified my manager who escalated this issue. Dude was promptly fired and the person he messed with was very successful within that organization. I made only one decision, report it. I'm no longer part of the problem that way.

I personally know someone who received an $8,000,000 settlement due to his being fired during a sexual harassment investigation where he did nothing.
I still wish I had been fired during that investigation!

Not all companies have an HR dept.

That organization, the Volunteers of America of Florida, did not have an HR at that time. I don't know about now. There were techs, counselors, middle management and executive management. I was at the middle management level.
Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.

*********I'm sorry but you simply don't know what you're talking about regarding the modern professional world. I do not change my actions regarding how I interact with colleagues based upon their gender. I fear no threat of accusations.

You fear no threat and that is good. However, I did work in the professional world and I was threatened. The threat was real and I was held accountable for something I did not do. Don't be naive regarding real world environments that are different then your own.

Kallend agreed with my original post on the subject.

You two were talking about schools and counseling where teacher/student guidelines are well established for the protection of both. I've worked as a high school coach, many of my close friends are teachers and one was accused of having a relationship with one of her students. I know the deal very well.

In an office setting in the modern professional world it is archaic to do what Mike Pence thinks he needs to do unless your wife doesn't trust you to keep your dick in your pants or is batshit crazy because she believes mid-century evangelical bullshit.

I accept your opinion as such. In my case I was threatened by a PhD colleague. Fortunately, the accusation did not go past the next level of executive management.

Doesn't even have to be a co-worker who tries to get you in trouble.

It could be some internet asshole who decides he is going to try and fuck with somebody's employment because they don't like them for whatever petty reason.

***You're starting to remind me of Coreece.

Yes, a little like Coreece. But a Coreece who is trying to hold back a little. You know, dance up to the line but not quite cross over it. I kind of miss Coreece a little. Maybe Sonnyblu can fill that gap for me!

Sonnyblu was too good for this place. I had to retire his sorry ass.

But not to worry little grasshopper, you can still hear his "voice" almost everyday in these forums. . .:)
BTW, I know why you refer to your god as a woman. . .

I met the Devil. She ain't as pretty as you think.;)
