kallend 2,146 #26 February 18, 2017 RonD1120 It doesn't appear as though you watched or listened to President Trump's press conference this week. He explained the facts of the General Flynn issue. The so-called "press conference" was an embarrassment. He lied, lost focus, was insulting and incoherent. I can't wait to see SNL tonight.... Phil1111 1,172 #27 February 18, 2017 ryoder ***Ron, are you paying $200,000/yr to be one of the special people? Now I know why you like him, he thinks he's god, and you believe him. From your link: But the familiarity of Mar-a-Lago -- where Trump has long spent winter weekends -- is critical for him, longtime aides said. “I would say it’s keeping him grounded,” said Sam Nunberg, a longtime Trump aide who worked on the campaign. “As a citizen and supporter, I’m very happy to hear he’s going to Mar-a-Lago.” Now that raht thar is funny! I don't care who yeh are!Two good laughs in that equation, good one normiss. trump is off for the weekend to stay "grounded". Another $3-4 million for that mental break from a week where everything is going GREAT.

billvon 3,107 #31 February 18, 2017 >It doesn't appear as though you watched or listened to President Trump's press >conference this week. He explained the facts of the General Flynn issue. Yes. He blamed the press, even though it was Trump who fired him. Trump also said he was "wonderful" and that "I think he’s been treated very, very unfairly by the media — as I call it, the fake media, in many cases. I think it’s really a sad thing he was treated so badly.” Why did Trump fire him? ""He didn't tell the vice president of the United States the facts and then he didn't remember, and that's just not acceptable. I fired him because of what he said to Mike Pence." Spicer: "We got to a point not based on a legal issue but based on a trust issue with the level of trust between the president and General Flynn had eroded to the point where he felt he had to make a change. . . . The president was very concerned that General Flynn had misled the vice president and others. The president must have complete and unwavering trust of the person in that position." So Trump was complaining about the media treating Flynn like Trump did. I can understand your cognitive dissonance. Must be tough to see a personal hero of yours coming off the rails like that. tkhayes 348 #32 February 18, 2017 QuoteQUESTION I just want to get you to clarify this very important point. Can you say definitively that nobody on your campaign had any contacts with the Russians during the campaign? And on the leaks, is it fake news or are these real leaks? DONALD TRUMP Well the leaks are real. You're the one that wrote about them and reported them, I mean the leaks are real. You know what they said, you saw it and the leaks are absolutely real. The news is fake because so much of the news is fake. So one thing that I felt it was very important to do -- and I hope we can correct it. Because there's nobody I have more respect for -- well, maybe a little bit, but the reporters, good reporters. and it goes on. "The news is fake because so much of the news is fake" That is a quote. That is also the level of a 10 year old. You did in fact listen to him speak and read the transcripts right? Because all we are 'not finished' is because all we have to do to finish is to continue to record what he says and then play it back
jclalor 12 #33 February 18, 2017 airdvrQuoteSo what do you think about Trump being on track to spend more on AF1 for personal use in one year then Obama did in his 8? Cite? So it looks like Trump has spent 10 million in his first month as opposed to Obama spending about 100 million over 8 years. http://www.cnbc.com/2017/02/17/trumps-florida-trips-cost-taxpayer-money.html Now do you remember the absolute outrage about the Obama Vacations? Yeah they do insist on all sorts of irritating things, like teaching science instead of Genesis. And even then, it's a loooong way from 'not a fan of' to 'enemies of America'. "Cognitive dissonance" is not a highbrow term. It's pretty straightforward. I imagine people such as yourself are feeling it now when you are forced to defend or deny Russia's attacks on the US. I guess you believe throwing out high brow phrases like "cognitive dissonance", which are completely out of your professional field, make you look more erudite than you are. I would wager a guess billion is one of the more educated people you come in contact with on a regular basis. You mean billvon. You are probably correct in that regard. However, he is not a mental health clinician. The term "cognitive dissonance" is used in clinical evaluations correctly followed by the phrase "as indicated by" requiring clinical evidence. Billvon used the phrase as a put down of my understanding and acceptance of President Trump. As such that would be clinically incorrect. He could accurately state that he does not understand President Trump or me and remain within professional bounds. I believe it quite safe to say he lacks understanding. That puts the challenge on him not on me or President Trump. However, it is obvious that this audience is mostly just skydivers and therefore not a big deal. President Trump was speaking to a room full of enemies. I thought he played them masterfully.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit.
