billvon 3,092 #2476 April 18, 2018 Congratulations on being the first post on the 100th page of this thread! Meanwhile, it looks like Nikki Haley has gotten between Putin and Trump. She's probably next to get the old heave-ho.
wolfriverjoe 1,523 #2477 April 20, 2018 Well, Trump found a lawyer. Rudy Giuliani. His role will be "limited", and he will focus on interfacing with Mueller, who he knows personally. He plans on getting a list from Mueller of what is needed to comply with the investigation, and thinks it will be a 'few weeks' to do that. I'm kinda curious how 'complying with' the investigation will bring it to a close, but he seems to think that's the case. Interestingly, he has taken leave from the firm he's with, for "matters unrelated to the firm or it's clients." It's noted in the story that many lawyers and firms have declined to work for Trump, for a variety of reasons. One of those reasons is the potential backlash from other clients or potential clients."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Here is a thread from 2014 you started with an Infowars link, where someone tells you that Infowars is a conspiracy theory site led by Alex Jones. Here's one from 2015 where you post another Infowars link and several people respond to you, and you to them, with Alex Jones' name. And here is another thread from exactly a year ago where you start pretending not to know who Alex Jones is, despite having swallowed his nonsense hook, line and sinker on numerous occasions. billvon 3,092 #2486 April 20, 2018 >The news outlets you prefer have not been talking about the late today released >James Comey memos have they? Absolutely. Here's AP: =============== In Comey memos, Trump fixates on 'hookers,' frets over Flynn's 'judgment issues' James Comey Mary Clare Jalonick, Eric Tucker and Chad Day Associated Press In a series of startlingly candid conversations, President Donald Trump told former FBI Director James Comey that he had serious concerns about the judgment of a top adviser, asked about the possibility of jailing journalists and described a boast from Vladimir Putin about Russian prostitutes, according to Comey's notes of the talks obtained by The Associated Press on Thursday night. The 15 pages of documents contain new details about a series of interactions with Trump that Comey found so unnerving that he chose to document them in writing. Those seven encounters in the weeks and months before Comey's May 2017 firing include a Trump Tower discussion about allegations involving Trump and prostitutes in Moscow; a White House dinner at which Comey says Trump asked him for his loyalty; and a private Oval Office discussion where the ex-FBI head says the president asked him to end an investigation into Michael Flynn, the former White House national security adviser. . . . In a February 2017 conversation, for instance, Trump told Comey how Putin told him, "we have some of the most beautiful hookers in the world" even as the president adamantly, and repeatedly, distanced himself from a salacious allegation concerning him and prostitutes in Moscow, according to one memo. ===================== Here's NPR: ===================== James Comey Memos: Trump Acknowledged Flynn Had 'Judgment Issues' April 19, 201810:30 PM ET PHILIP EWING President Trump pointed his fingers at his own head and said then-national security adviser Michael Flynn had "serious judgment issues," according to a redacted, unclassified version of then-FBI Director James Comey's original memo about his fateful dinner with Trump. That's one new detail included in copies of the memoranda sent by the Justice Department to Congress on Thursday evening in response to a request from the leaders of the Judiciary and intelligence committees. Trump questioned Flynn's judgment while telling an anecdote about the foreign leaders who had called Trump to congratulate him after his inauguration. Flynn hadn't told Trump about one call and hadn't scheduled a response until six days afterward, according to Comey's memo — for which Trump upbraided Flynn. The leader and the country are not identified in the redacted version of the document. ========================== Here's one from CNN, which I presume you are referring to as Golerk's "preferred" outlet: ===================== Comey memos renew questions over Trump's behavior Analysis by Stephen Collinson, CNN Updated 2:04 AM ET, Fri April 20, 2018 Washington (CNN) - If House Republicans thought they were helping President Donald Trump by forcing the release of James Comey's memos, they might want to think again. The documents written by the then-FBI director, detailing his interactions with Trump, present a contemporaneous and deeply unflattering view of a President throwing his weight around in his first days in the White House -- that at the very least seems highly inappropriate. Only special counsel Robert Mueller can decide whether the stunning accounts of conversations in which the President got the then-FBI director alone in the White House and leaned on him amount to obstruction of justice. The Comey memos suggest Trump has a scattershot and self-obsessed mindset, brooding about his subordinates, leaks, his campaign and his inaugural crowd size and not appreciating or caring about protocol boundaries that separate the White House and the Justice Department. ====================

If you want to know what was really said in the memos look them up and read them yourself. As a point of reference, and the lies that the media puts out that you'd like to repost, remember when it was reported that Trump said the White House was a dump? I'm pretty sure it was dutifully reported someplace on this site! Anyway, if you read through comey's notes, it shows that he compares the White House very well to one of his favorite places. Just proving another media live from the sources you like to quote so often! Another lie? Another lie was that Trump tried to stop the investigation. Reading through the memos that's not what he says. He also admits that he leaked classified information. Just keep posting guys.
